Due Date: March 27

Back in the day, Video Games were extremely limited in their ability to properly convey a magical world of dungeons, dragons, wizards, jet planes, baseball players, boxing contendors, or anything else. Often times, characters on the screen were nothing more than a collection of pixels that loosely represented a person or a thing. Because of this, the designers of these games had to rely on stirring gamer's imaginations through the colorful, detailed artwork on the box. Nowadays, box somewhat a thing of the past (thank you, streaming/download of games directly to the platform!). But, the artwork is still relevant as it acts as a represenation of games from yesterday to today.
Your job is to take a retro game box-art design and reimagine it in a more modern way. However, your design must try to capture the retro feel of the original while modernizing it for a new audience.

The epic game design, Intellivision, is relaunching their original game line-up from the 1980s. However, their original box art design is outdated and they are looking for a grand update to their games. It is up to you to redesign their work in a new, fresh (sort of) manner that still touches on the nostalgia factor of the original design.
You will select two (2) of the available box-art designs from the image carousel (above) and recreate/redesign them, moderninzing the overall look while adhereing to the spirit of the original design. Please note the required elements (in red) on the Game Box layout below.

What is considered "the spirit" of the original design?
- Stratified coloring of action (the rainbow effect)
- The colorization of the original box
- The use of the Intellivision logo
- Does the box art reflect the nature of the game?
- example 1: Hockey - does it represent what the sport of hockey looks like?
- example 2: Chopper command? Helicopters? A convoy of trucks? Explosions!?
